Although she was born in Kachin State, she grew up in Yangon as her family moved there since she was 6 months old. Her career in the Myanmar Music Industry started when she participated in the City FM Contest in 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese from the Yangon University of Foreign Languages, Myanmar.
