I had a very busy month last month. I am doing fine, and thank you for all your email messages, and supports. This is a cover of a Burmese song, called "Sate". I recorded it maybe three months ago, and it has been sitting on my computer. "Sate" means Mind in English.. I will add full translation of the song as soon as I can. The clips you see in the video are the clips I took in the summer. Aung Yin - Burmese Sweetheart (Ma-Chit-Suu) dedicated to Burma's Hero and Prisoner Aung San Suu Kyi Length: 4.65 minutes | Average rating: 5.00 I was hesitant to sing this song to dedicate to Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi because of the upbeat music, especially in her troubling time. But then, the name of the song Ma-Chit-Suu contains a reference to her name "Suu" and the lyrics remind us of how she is loved by her adoring supporters inside and outside of Burma. In Burma, people do not mention her real name because saying her name could mean a jail time. So, people refer to her as the Lady. When I was in Burma, I remember some people used Ma-Chit-Suu as a secret word to refer to her. Please show your love to this frail woman for her courage to stand up for the people of Burma and democracy. Correction: Please read "two live-in female companions" instead of "two housekeepers" in the video commentary. Aung Yin Song covered by Gersing - A Burmese Guy Length: 5.33 minutes | Average rating: 4.66 I just woke up and so, my hair was a bit messy. oO I made a few mistakes, but overall, I really love this song. It is about a guy missing his girl and realizing how much he needs her after all. The melody is beautiful, and the lyrics tell a great love story.
